The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (OEK) has announced a third judgment from the Kosovo Commercial Court that annuls the Energy Regulatory Office’s (ERO) notification for businesses to enter the free energy market.
According to OEK, this development confirms that businesses were right in raising their voices against ERO’s perceived injustices.
“The first decision of the Commercial Court proved that justice is on the side of businesses, but other decisions are reinforcing the rights of Kosovo businesses. We believe that there are now enough facts for ERO to reflect, and with this, we call on ERO to immediately suspend the notification for entering the free market, before even more severe consequences are created for businesses, especially the negative impact on market competitiveness, because there are already businesses affected by the notification that do not have a decision from the Commercial Court of Kosovo,” states an OEK announcement.
