The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (OEK) announced that it has filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court against the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRrE), challenging the agency’s decision requiring businesses to immediately enter the free energy market.
In a statement on Facebook, OEK shared the official court documents related to the lawsuit.
The chamber emphasized that the legal action aims to protect businesses, safeguard Kosovo’s economy, and defend citizens as end consumers against what it describes as an unjust decision by ZRrE.
OEK previously expressed serious concern over the situation following ZRrE’s decision to suspend electricity, labeling the move as illegal and harmful to businesses, the economy, and citizens.
