Kosovo Customs Discovers Undeclared Ammunition in Truck Driver’s Cabin

Kosovo Customs officials have discovered undeclared ammunition during an inspection at the Customs Internal Office in Ferizaj, the institution announced.

According to the statement, customs officers were conducting clearance procedures for a truck shipment when they carried out a physical inspection of the cargo. During the inspection, they identified an invoice related to a firearm, prompting suspicions that additional weapons-related items could be present.

Based on those suspicions, customs officials expanded the inspection to the truck’s cabin and the driver’s personal belongings.

During a search of the driver’s personal bag, officers discovered two boxes containing a total of 20 rounds of ammunition, according to Kosovo Customs.

The case has been referred for further processing in accordance with the relevant legal authorities and procedures.
