The Kosovo Customs announced that on Friday at around 22:00, during a routine inspection at the Hani i Elezit border crossing, officials stopped a vehicle arriving from North Macedonia.
During the declaration, the driver claimed that he had no goods to declare. However, a detailed inspection revealed undeclared merchandise, primarily phone chargers originating from China.
The items were temporarily seized as they had not been declared at customs. According to the statement, a total of 431 adapters of various types, including protected brands such as Samsung and Apple, were confiscated and sent for verification to the Department for Industrial Property (DPI).
