Kosovo Customs reported that officials at the Vërmica border crossing intercepted a vehicle carrying undeclared goods during a detailed inspection.

Authorities discovered 360 kg of boneless pork neck and 96 household gas cylinders (each containing 190 grams) hidden inside the vehicle. The transporter failed to provide any invoices or accompanying documentation for the goods.

“These goods have been seized pending completion of the relevant procedures. The responsible individual has been charged with a customs violation in accordance with Article 244 of the Kosovo Customs and Excise Code (KDAK),” the customs statement said.

Kosovo Customs emphasized its continued commitment to strengthening border control, preventing smuggling, and protecting the country’s economic and public health interests.
