Kosovo customs officials have intercepted a shipment of undeclared medicines and supplements at the Vërmica border crossing, according to a report by Gazeta Sinjali.

During a routine inspection last night, officials stopped a vehicle and discovered medicines and supplements hidden in the car’s trunk.

“The total value of the seized goods exceeds €1,600,” the Kosovo Customs statement confirmed.

Under current legislation, the person responsible is facing customs offense proceedings, and the confiscated items will remain detained until the completion of legal procedures.

Kosovo Customs has reminded citizens and travelers to declare all goods when crossing the border.

“We remind everyone that any goods carried across the border must be declared, and failure to do so constitutes a legal violation,” the statement added.
