Kosovo Customs announced today that, following information received from citizens regarding the presence of contraband goods, Anti-Smuggling Units carried out inspections at two separate locations — one in Mitrovica and the other in Prishtina..
According to Customs, the inspections resulted in the seizure of: 98 packs of food products of the “pashteta” type, 58 boxes of Heets cigarettes, and 9 kilograms of shredded tobacco.
“Kosovo Customs thanks citizens for their cooperation and continued support in the fight against smuggling, and urges that any suspicious information be reported through official communication channels,” the statement reads.
