Kosovo Customs, in cooperation with the Border Police, has identified three separate cases of undeclared goods at the Vermicë border crossing in recent days.
According to an official statement from Kosovo Customs, the inspections revealed various items hidden by travelers attempting to enter the country without proper declaration.
In the first case, officers found 327 protective phone films concealed inside luggage and the spare tire of a vehicle.
In the second case, food products and animal vitamins were discovered without the required invoices or documentation.
The third case involved undeclared cameras and static camera mounts.
All goods have been temporarily confiscated, and customs violation procedures have been initiated in accordance with the Customs and Excise Code of Kosovo (KDAK).
Kosovo Customs urged travelers to declare all goods when crossing the border to avoid legal penalties and ensure compliance with national trade regulations.
