Kosovo secured a 0–1 victory against Sweden in the World Cup Qualifiers. The first half was decided by Fisnik Asllani, who scored in the 32nd minute.
Asllani, just like Manaj, chose to celebrate with the double-headed eagle gesture, during the match held at Nya Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg.
The hosts tried to respond but found it impossible to break through. Coach Franco Foda’s team now ranks second in Group B with 7 points, while Sweden remains at the bottom of the standings with just 1 point.
