From May 26 to June 9, 2025, Kosovo will host the largest international military exercise led by the U.S. Army in Europe and Africa, “Defender Europe 25”.
This was announced in a statement from the Ministry of Defense.
“During this period, there will be movements of convoys from Kosovo Security Force (KSF) bases toward the Gjakova region, specifically to the Gjakova Airport and the military training area in Babaj i Bokës,” the ministry’s announcement stated.
Through this exercise, the KSF will demonstrate its operational readiness and the level of combat interoperability with partner and regional countries, including the United States, Albania, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria.
