The number of Kosovars living abroad returning home to celebrate the year-end holidays has increased, with signs visible not only on the country’s roads but also at border crossings.

At the Dheu i Bardhë border crossing, entry into Kosovo has created a queue over 120 meters long, with waiting times exceeding 40 minutes.

Other border points also report varying wait times:

  • Jarinje: approximately 20 minutes
  • Merdare, Bërnjak, and other crossings: around 5 minutes

Authorities are monitoring the situation to ensure smooth entry for returning citizens during the festive period.
