Kosovo Embassy Activates Emergency Hotline to Assist Citizens Following Magdeburg Tragedy

The Kosovo Embassy in Germany has extended support to its citizens following the horrific attack in Magdeburg, Germany.

After a man drove a car into the city’s Christmas market, killing and injuring dozens, the Kosovo Embassy activated its emergency hotline to assist Kosovo nationals.

In a statement, the Embassy confirmed it is in continuous contact with German authorities:

“Following the horrific attack that took place a few hours ago at the Christmas market in #Magdeburg, the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Berlin is in constant communication with relevant German authorities and members of our diaspora in Magdeburg and Sachsen-Anhalt.

Kosovo’s Ambassador to Germany, Faruk Ajeti, also expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic attack.
