The Embassy of Kosovo in Paris has announced that from December 20 until January 6, consular services will be suspended, except in urgent cases (only death-related emergencies).

According to the announcement, this temporary suspension is due to the closing of the fiscal year 2025, during which it will not be possible to process payments for consular services, in line with the instructions of the Department of Finance at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MFA).

The Embassy has advised all those who require consular services to contact them before December 19.

“We inform you that from December 20, 2025, until January 6, 2026, the Consular Service at the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Paris will not provide consular services, except in urgent cases (only death-related emergencies). This temporary interruption is due to the closing of the fiscal year 2025, during which the processing of payments for consular services will not be possible, according to the guidance of the Department of Finance at the MFA. If you require consular services, please contact us before December 19, 2025. Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you happy holidays!” the statement reads.
