The President of the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK), Agim Ademi, has been appointed to a position within the FIFA institutional structures, the FFK announced on Tuesday evening.
- Ademi will serve on the FIFA Committee for Institutional Relations, which plays a key role in advising and assisting FIFA in building and maintaining relationships with top international institutions such as the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the United Nations (UN) and its agencies like UNESCO and UNICEF, as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations worldwide, and other international sports associations.
- Ademi described the position as both a privilege and a responsibility, stating:
“I am honored to contribute to such an important FIFA committee. This is a success for all Kosovo football and proof that our work is being recognized at the highest international levels.”
This appointment is seen as a major milestone for Kosovo football, highlighting its growing influence within global football governance.
