The Government of Kosovo has confirmed that investigations into the terrorist attack on the critical infrastructure at Ibër Lepenc are actively underway. Kosovo’s Government Spokesperson, Përparim Kryeziu, emphasized that the country is in constant communication with its international partners as part of the ongoing efforts to address the attack.
“The investigations into the terrorist attack on the Ibër Lepenc critical infrastructure are being carried out by our institutions. As you know, there have already been arrests, and significant quantities of weapons, ammunition, and military uniforms have been confiscated, including 74 different military insignia, 20 of which belong to special units of the Russian military,” said Kryeziu.
He further reassured the public that Kosovo is working closely with its international allies. “We are in continuous communication with our international partners. We welcome the support they have provided for a thorough investigation into the November 29th attack. Our police force has established partnerships with democratic Western states, and the ongoing investigations will benefit from their expertise.”
Kryeziu emphasized that these technical matters fall under the expertise of law enforcement, and international collaboration is crucial for uncovering the full scope of the attack.
