The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, met with French Ambassador Olivier Guerot to discuss the February 9 elections and Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations, with a particular focus on NATO membership.

Haradinaj shared details of the meeting in a Facebook post, emphasizing the importance of deepening bilateral relations between Kosovo and France.

“France remains a key strategic partner on this journey. I highly appreciate its commitment to regional stability and continued support for our state. Bilateral cooperation in various sectors offers new opportunities to advance shared interests and strengthen the long-standing friendship between our two peoples,” Haradinaj stated.

Kosovo has intensified diplomatic efforts to secure NATO membership, seeing it as crucial for national security amid regional tensions. France’s stance on Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration remains pivotal, as it holds significant influence within both the EU and NATO.
