Kosovo Hosts International Forum for Women, Peace, and Security – President Osmani Leads Initiative

The International Forum for Women, Peace, and Security officially kicks off today in Pristina, under the patronage of the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.

The two-day event is set to feature over 30 panel discussions, bringing together more than 150 speakers from 45+ countries. Global leaders, activists, and policymakers will gather to share strategies and visions under the theme: “The Security Code for Our Generation.”

In a statement, the Presidency of Kosovo highlighted the forum as a platform for amplifying women’s voices in global peacebuilding and security efforts.

“On June 2 and 3, Pristina once again becomes the meeting place for voices from around the world, sharing a vision for a safer and more inclusive future,” the announcement reads.

President Osmani has positioned gender equality and peacebuilding at the core of her international agenda, making this forum a significant diplomatic and humanitarian event for the region.
