The Kosovo women’s national team held its last training today before tomorrow’s match against Ukraine.

This match will take place at 18:00 at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium and will be the first match on the renewed carpet.

The coach of Kosovo, Anneli Andersen, has stated that they will try to give their best.

“A lot has happened these days and we are trying to prepare as best we can. We have the challenge of the scorching heat, but thankfully that applies to both teams, so we’ll have to deal with it. However, we are trying to improve our game and performance.”

“This promotion to League B has been a very difficult challenge for us. We didn’t get the results we wanted, but it was also a good lesson for the future and what needs to be done next to keep working. As I said, there are only good teams in this division and each of them has its own style and tactics, just like us.”

“We’ve done well, but we’re not good enough to win games like we did last year. So we are trying to improve ourselves and work with our team. We have analyzed the opposing team. All the teams, Croatia, Ukraine and Wales, want to win the group and will come very prepared. We will try to give our best and play every part of the game.”

Blerta Smaili, one of the team’s key players, said that the team is very focused for tomorrow’s match and thinks they have prepared enough.
