Today, the Central Election Commission (CEC) certified the list of individuals eligible to vote in the elections scheduled for February 9, 2025. According to the certified voter list, a total of 2 million, 75 thousand, and 868 voters are registered.

Of these, 1 million, 970 thousand, and 944 are eligible to vote at polling stations within Kosovo, while 104 thousand, 924 are registered to vote from outside Kosovo.

This figure represents a significant discrepancy compared to the number of citizens registered in the population census, which, according to the official final data, stands at 1 million, 586 thousand, and 659. When considering only the number of people eligible to vote within Kosovo, this results in a difference of 384 thousand, 285.

The gap is even larger when considering that a percentage of the total registered citizens are minors who do not have voting rights, as they will not have reached the age of 18 by the day of the elections.
