The Central Election Commission (KQZ), along with the Kosovo Police, the State Prosecutor’s Office, the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP), and the Kosovo Judicial Council (KGjK), held a joint meeting today to discuss preparations, cooperation, and coordination for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kosovo, scheduled for February 9, 2025.
Ensuring a Smooth Electoral Process
The meeting was attended by KQZ Chair Kreshnik Radoniqi, National Coordinator for Elections at the State Prosecutor’s Office Laura Pula, Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha, Kosovo Judicial Council member Artan Abazi, KGjK Coordinator Fatime Dërmaku, and PZAP Chair Zenel Leku.
KQZ Chair Radoniqi emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in ensuring that the election process follows the Constitution and legal framework of Kosovo.
Institutional representatives presented their plans for election day, outlining their roles in guaranteeing a fair and secure voting process within their constitutional and legal competencies.
