The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo has announced that, as of today, the reciprocal agreement for the recognition of driver’s licenses between Kosovo and Italy has officially come into force.
Under this agreement, citizens can now convert their driver’s licenses without undergoing additional theoretical or practical exams, significantly simplifying the process.
A Step Toward Integration
“The implementation of this agreement is an important step toward integrating Kosovo citizens living in Italy. At the same time, it will ease the financial burden for those who need to exchange their documents,” the ministry’s statement read.
The agreement is seen as a major achievement for Kosovo, reaffirming the strong bilateral relations between Kosovo and Italy.
