Kosovo ranks among the countries most aligned with the United States, alongside Israel, Poland, Albania, and Philippines, reflecting strong public support for the U.S. compared to China.

However, according to a Gallup report, China surpassed the U.S. in global leadership approval ratings in 2025, with 36% approval versus 31% for the U.S. This shift is largely attributed to a decline in the U.S.’s image, which fell significantly in 44 countries—including traditional allies such as Germany, Canada, United Kingdom, and Italy—while China saw increases in 23 countries, reports RKS News.

On a country level, Kosovo leads globally in support for U.S. policies with +64 points and simultaneously shows the strongest opposition to China with -68 points. Following Kosovo in U.S. support are Israel (+57), Poland (+47), Albania (+40), and the Philippines (+36), with a similar ranking for opposition to China.

Conversely, countries with the highest approval for China include Russia, Pakistan, Tunisia, Singapore, and Hong Kong, which also show high disapproval of the U.S.

The findings indicate a trend toward a more multipolar world, where countries are increasingly less aligned with a single global power.
