The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has announced the completion of the mail-in vote count, processing results from 187 polling stations.
According to the latest figures:
- Vetëvendosje (VV) leads with 51.57% (31,963 votes).
- LDK follows with 30.55% (18,933 votes).
- PDK secures 9.48% (5,878 votes).
- AAK trails with 3.32% (2,000 votes).
Awaiting Final Certification
KQZ spokesperson Valmir Elezi previously stated that the final results for political entities would be announced by March 5, while certification is expected by March 18.
However, due to a decision by the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP) to validate 21 additional ballots, authorities must wait 48 hours to allow for any potential appeals to the Supreme Court before proceeding with certification.
