The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MESTI) announced the successful completion of the first part of the State Matura Exam. MESTI assessed the organization and administration of this process as successful.

“The exam was held in 158 testing centers, where graduates were placed in 1,335 halls. According to commissioners’ reports, the test started on time, and there were no significant remarks,” the announcement stated.

Phone Use Leads to Expulsions

However, MESTI added that there were some issues with students using phones. A considerable number of students were removed from the exam this time due to phone use. A more detailed report on the process will be made public next week, after analyzing reports from the heads of the testing centers.

MESTI thanked all stakeholders involved in organizing and conducting the State Matura Exam.
