Pristina, Kosovo – The Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning, and Infrastructure (MMPHI) has confirmed that a new driving test system will be implemented in Kosovo starting February 18, 2025.
This change, which has been circulating on social media through driving schools, will introduce updated questions and a new test format for Category B driving license applicants.
Key Changes in the New Testing System
According to MMPHI, the new system aims to:
- Update and improve test questions across all driving license categories (A, B, C1, C, and D).
- Introduce a standardized official handbook for structured learning and better preparation.
- Enhance road safety knowledge among candidates.
“The new testing system will ensure that candidates have up-to-date knowledge of traffic rules and road safety. The official handbook, published in May 2024, provides a standardized resource for both candidates and driving schools, enabling a more structured approach to preparation,” MMPHI stated.
Implementation Timeline
The new system will come into effect on February 18, 2025, for Category B, with changes also impacting all other driving license categories over time.
The Ministry encourages all candidates and driving schools to use the official handbook to familiarize themselves with the revised material and prepare effectively for the updated test.
