The Kosovo Police, as an institution enforcing the laws and decisions of the Republic, has initiated procedures for the forced removal from the country of Nikola Vujović (N.V.). This action follows the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ decision to strip him of his Kosovan citizenship.Details of the Removal Procedures
According to the police statement, N.V. is a former citizen of the Republic of Kosovo and simultaneously a citizen of Serbia, as well as a member of Serbia’s police intelligence. The Directorate for Migration and Foreigners within the Kosovo Police has commenced procedures for his forced removal from Kosovo’s territory, based on the laws governing this matter, and has issued a decision for N.V.’s expulsion.
Until these procedures are finalized and the conditions for executing the decision are met, N.V. has been placed in the Detention Center for Foreigners.
The Kosovo Police affirmed its commitment to continue fulfilling its constitutional and legal duties and enforcing the decisions of the country’s state institutions.
