French Ambassador to Kosovo, Olivier Guerot, delivered a clear message during a conference appearance today, stating that Kosovo is not isolated—unless it chooses to isolate itself.

Guerot emphasized that international partners have continuously supported Kosovo.

“I have two very simple messages. First, Kosovo is not isolated—unless it isolates itself. You are not isolated. We, the QUINT, have supported you for years… our support is still here, European support as well. Kosovo is not an island, it is at the heart of the region, part of the continent. Two weeks ago, we had the European Political Community meeting in Tirana, and Kosovo was part of it,” he said, as reported by Nacionale.

He further stated that Kosovo isolates itself by not listening to its friends and by “preaching morality.”

“You are not isolated, unless you isolate yourselves. How do you isolate yourselves? By not listening to friends, by preaching morality, by finding all the reasons not to honor commitments. So the plea is: listen to your friends,” Guerot added.
