Lawmakers in the Assembly of Kosovo are set to convene on Friday for a plenary session to review the draft State Budget for 2026 in its second reading.

According to an official announcement from the Assembly, the budget bill will be the only item on the agenda. The session is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.

The draft legislation, formally titled Draft Law No. 10/L-001 on Budget Allocations for the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo for 2026, must pass the second reading in order to be adopted as law and enter into force.

Earlier this week, the Assembly approved the bill in its first reading with 66 votes in favor, 32 against, and five abstentions.

The proposed budget is valued at €4 billion, outlining the government’s financial plan and spending priorities for the upcoming year.
