Today, two key committees of the Kosovo Assembly—the Committee on European Integration and the Committee on Budget, Labor, and Transfers—are convening to discuss important issues related to EU integration and the country’s budget planning.
The Committee on European Integration will meet in Hall N-302 at 11:30 AM. The agenda includes:
- Approval of the meeting agenda
- Review of the draft law on ratifying the “Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union on the arrangements for the implementation of EU support for Kosovo under the Instrument for Reform and Growth”
- Other miscellaneous items
The committee aims to discuss and prepare recommendations for the approval of the agreement, which seeks to support reforms and economic development in Kosovo.
Meanwhile, the Committee on Budget, Labor, and Transfers will convene in Hall C-203 at 12:00 PM. The agenda includes:
- Review of Draft Law No. 10/L-001 on budget allocations for 2026
- Examination of draft laws for ratifying international financial agreements and loans for development projects in fiscal policy, competitiveness, healthcare, and early childhood education
- Discussion of the Instrument for Reform and Growth for the Western Balkans in cooperation with the European Union
These meetings are part of Kosovo’s ongoing efforts to align fiscal planning with EU-supported reform initiatives.
