The Kosovo Police, in cooperation with NATO’s peacekeeping mission in Kosovo (KFOR), conducted a joint exercise today in the northern part of the country. The purpose of the exercise was to strengthen coordination and interoperability between the two security institutions, in preparation for a joint response to any potential emergency situation, Rks News reports.
According to an official statement, the exercise was the result of careful planning and was assessed as a successful example of cooperation between the Kosovo Police and KFOR. Participants demonstrated a high level of readiness and efficiency in executing the security scenarios.
“This activity reflects institutional closeness and joint efforts to ensure a safe environment, as well as to enable a rapid and effective response to any potential security challenges,” the statement reads.
The Kosovo Police and KFOR reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace and security in the country, emphasizing the importance of continued close cooperation for long-term regional stability.
