Kosovo Police have announced heightened security measures and temporary traffic restrictions in Pristina ahead of tonight’s FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying match between Kosovo and Turkey.

The play-off final is scheduled for March 31, 2026, at 20:45 at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium. Authorities emphasized the match’s importance and confirmed increased police presence in the stadium, throughout the city, and at three designated fan zones.

To ensure smooth movement for delegations and spectators, temporary road closures have been planned, including: Tring Ismajli, Agim Ramadani, Eqrem Çabej, Bill Clinton Boulevard, the area near the Bus Station roundabout, Hekurudhat Street, and Rruga Tirana (toward the stadium). After the match, traffic restrictions will apply on Rruga Tirana, Arbëri, Rruga Ahmet Krasniqi, and the highway leading to the airport.

Temporary limitations will also be enforced around the stadium, including Rruga Luan Haradinaj (up to the Ministry of Justice) and Rruga Fehmi Agani. Police stressed that all closures are temporary and will be implemented in intervals depending on official movements and traffic management needs.

Authorities have urged citizens to follow police instructions, use alternative routes where possible, and help maintain public order, emphasizing that the security and smooth conduct of the sporting event is a shared responsibility.
