Failure to follow traffic rules remains one of the main causes of the many accidents occurring every day. One of the most common methods to prevent such incidents is fining those who violate traffic regulations, reports Rks News.
The Kosovo Police announced that within the last 24 hours, a total of 1,577 traffic fines were issued.
According to the police, several road accidents were reported during this period 31 resulted in injuries, while 44 others caused only material damage.
Additionally, law enforcement reports that 12 individuals were arrested, while 6 others were placed in detention for various legal violations.
The Police appeal to all drivers to respect traffic rules and exercise greater caution on the roads in order to prevent accidents and reduce risks to citizens’ lives.
