The Kosovo Police announced that the Rapid Intervention Unit – North has successfully prevented a case of goods smuggling.

At around 10:40 a.m. today, in the village of Joshanicë, municipality of Leposaviq, near the border line with Serbia, officers stopped a van with Serbian license plates.

Inside the vehicle, police found 62 bags filled with coffee, with a total weight of approximately 3,600 kilograms. Authorities suspect the coffee was smuggled from Serbian territory into Kosovo.
