Today, the Deputy Director General of the Kosovo Police, Fehmi Hoti, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.
According to the statement, the main topic of discussion was the security situation in Kosovo, including the situation in the northern part of the country.
“Ambassador Hargreaves was warmly welcomed by Deputy Director Hoti, with whom he shared information on the security situation in Kosovo, including the situation in the north of the country, as well as the work and engagement of the Kosovo Police as a professional, democratic, and developed police force in various policing fields. Among other things, Hoti emphasized that the Kosovo Police has good cooperation with its strategic partners, including excellent cooperation with the British Embassy in Kosovo, which has continuously supported and assisted the Kosovo Police with advanced training as well as with logistical and technological equipment,” the statement reads.
Further, it was revealed that Hargreaves thanked Deputy Director Hoti and the police staff for their hospitality and once again congratulated the Kosovo Police for their professional development and advancement, as well as for their work and police engagements in the interest of security for all citizens, without discrimination.
According to the statement, the meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to further increase the partnership, cooperation, and support in various policing fields, which will reflect in the interest of overall security as well as in the prevention and combating of all criminal activities.
