Kosovo Police Seize Grenades, Ammunition, and Military Gear in Northern Operation

Kosovo Police provided details on an operation conducted today in the northern region of the country, during which they confiscated several items, including grenades, ammunition, and military equipment.

The authorities seized four M-79 grenades, eight gas masks, optical devices, and a sniper cloak, as well as more than 100 rounds of various calibers, t-shirts with the phrase “Kosovo Knights” written in Cyrillic, a metal bar, a compass, and handcuffs.

In addition to weapons, police found and confiscated graphics cards (Riga) used for cryptocurrency mining, SIM cards, phones, four radio chargers, a rotating light for vehicles, and ten USB drives.

This military-grade equipment was found in a house and an adjacent building in the northern part of Mitrovica.

Petrit Fejza, head of operations for the northern police region, confirmed the news.

A 37-year-old man with the initials M.B. was arrested in connection with the case, and upon the prosecutor’s order, he was placed under a 48-hour detention.
