The Kosovo Police have announced that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure public order and safety during the events scheduled for tomorrow, June 28th, in observance of “Vidovdan,” reports Rks News.
In an official statement, the Police outlined that the measures include operational planning, coordination with both local and international institutions, and concrete actions to maintain public order, manage road traffic, and oversee border control.
At a meeting held today at the Kosovo Police General Directorate, senior police leadership presented the operational plan for “Vidovdan” to representatives of state and international institutions.
According to the Police, preventive and operational measures have been planned across all regions and departments to ensure the events proceed peacefully and without incident.
“The Kosovo Police APPEALS to all citizens and participants to manifest peacefully, avoid any possible provocation, respect the law and the instructions of the Kosovo Police, which will be present with its units to provide security and prevent any unlawful actions,” the statement reads.
In addition to security measures, the Police also warned that there may be temporary roadblocks or traffic rerouting during the events, calling for the understanding and cooperation of the public.
