The Kosovo Police, despite being the youngest police force in the region, is now making headlines as one of the most professional and trusted in Europe.
This reputation stems not only from the remarkable success of its special units in European competitions but also from its dedication to serving all nationalities in Kosovo with integrity and responsibility.
According to SecuriMeter statistics for 2024, an impressive 94% of respondents confirmed they have neither given nor witnessed any illegal payments or bribes to the Kosovo Police. In contrast, only 3% reported experiencing corruption—an exceptional result compared to neighboring countries.
Bosnia tops the list of the most corrupt police forces, with 18% of citizens admitting to bribery or knowing someone who paid illegal fees. Serbia follows closely, where 16% of citizens reported similar experiences of police corruption.
This achievement places Kosovo Police far ahead of its regional counterparts, setting a new standard for professionalism and trust in law enforcement across the Balkans.
