As part of state activities marking the 27th anniversary of the UÇK Epopee, Kosovo’s top leaders will pay tribute today at the “Adem Jashari” Memorial Complex in Prekaz.
Commemorations are also planned across all municipalities and memorial sites honoring Kosovo’s fallen heroes. The central and local government officials will gather in Prekaz at 10:00 AM for official homage.
Later in the evening, at 5:00 PM, a memorial academy will be held in Prishtina in honor of the UÇK Epopee.
On Wednesday, Prekaz welcomed numerous visitors from across Albanian-speaking regions, while the Kosovo Government held a solemn session dedicated to the anniversary. A separate event took place at the “Adem Jashari” barracks in Prishtina, where the sacrifice of the Jashari family for Kosovo’s freedom was highly praised.
