Today, Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, will meet with Kaja Kallas, the newly appointed High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, in Brussels. This marks the first official meeting between Kallas and Kurti since Kallas assumed her role on December 1.
The meeting will take place on the sidelines of a working dinner hosted by the newly elected President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, with leaders from the Western Balkans. The dinner serves as an opportunity to discuss pressing regional issues and strengthen EU ties with the Balkans.
Additionally, tomorrow (Wednesday), President Vjosa Osmani of Kosovo will meet with President Costa at 9:30 AM, according to the official agenda.
This visit comes amid continued efforts by the European Union to facilitate dialogue and cooperation in the Western Balkans, particularly between Kosovo and Serbia.
