Kosovo authorities are set to receive the 2025 Country Report from the European Commission on Tuesday.

According to a government statement, Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti will receive the report from the Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, at 17:45, followed by a joint press conference.

KOHA obtained access to a draft of the report, which indicates that in most chapters, Kosovo shows “limited progress” or “some progress”, while in certain areas, it is noted that “no progress” has been made.

The report highlights particular concerns regarding freedom of expression, where no progress has been observed, and actions in the northern part of the country, which are reported to have contradicted Kosovo’s EU obligations and hindered the process of normalizing relations.
