On the 23rd anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in the USA, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has declared that Kosovo stands firmly in alliance and friendship with the United States of America.

On Wednesday, he expressed solidarity with the families of the victims, among whom were three Albanians.

“Our thoughts are with the victims, and we stand in solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones. We also reaffirm our cooperation with democratic governments around the world, led by the United States. Twenty-three years ago, 2,977 U.S. citizens, including 403 firefighters and police officers who were heroically trying to save lives, perished, marking the beginning of a new era since then. Terrorism must be fought by everyone… Among those killed were also three compatriots whom we remember: the Camaj, Dedvukaj, and Gjonbalaj families. Kosovo stands with the U.S. on this day of remembrance,” Kurti stated.
