Kosovo is taking part in the 21st edition of the Bled Strategic Forum (BSF), which opened on Sunday in Slovenia and brings together political leaders, diplomats, representatives of international institutions, experts, academics and members of the business community.
The forum, taking place on August 31 and September 1, is being held this year under the theme “Power to Shape the Future.”
Discussions are focused on geopolitical changes, Europe’s future, security, international cooperation, technological developments and broader global challenges.
Kosovo is represented at the forum by Jeton Zulfaj, Kosovo’s chief negotiator with the European Union.
According to the Embassy of Kosovo in Slovenia, participation in the Bled Strategic Forum provides an opportunity to promote Kosovo’s perspective and contribute to discussions on the future of Europe and developments in the Western Balkans.
The embassy said that advancing Kosovo’s European integration process remains among the country’s key priorities, including efforts to obtain EU candidate status and eventually open accession negotiations with the European Union.
The Bled Strategic Forum is one of the region’s leading international platforms for political and strategic dialogue, bringing together policymakers and experts to discuss major challenges facing Europe and the international community.
