Kosovo and Saudi Arabia have signed a significant agreement to enhance customs cooperation. The agreement was signed by Kosovo’s Finance Minister Hekuran Murati and Saudi Arabia’s Finance Minister Mohammed Al Jadaan during the opening ceremony of the 2024 International Conference on Zakat, Taxation, and Customs.

Minister Murati emphasized that the agreement aligns with the highest international standards and marks a significant step forward in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. “This agreement, which addresses customs issues and aims to align our cooperation, will facilitate trade, improve security, and boost economic collaboration between our countries,” Murati said.

The new agreement is expected to streamline customs procedures and foster greater economic ties between Kosovo and Saudi Arabia.
