In a ceremony marking the certification of new recruits to the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), held at the “Skënderbeu” Barracks in Ferizaj, President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, emphasized that the FSK is a living testament to the sacrifices made during Kosovo’s fight for freedom.
Osmani proudly stated that Kosovo’s liberty is a result of the sacrifices of the martyrs and heroes who gave their lives for the country.
“The military is not just an armed force, our army is an eternal vow to our homeland, a commitment to security, and a guarantee for peace,” said Osmani during her address.
In highlighting the FSK’s connection to the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Osmani underscored that the formation of the security force represents the ongoing legacy of those who fought for Kosovo’s independence.
