The Kosovo Security Force (FSK) today officially received new armored vehicles procured from the United States, in a ceremony attended by senior government and military officials.

Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with Acting Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci, FSK Commander Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, and U.S. Military Attaché in Kosovo, Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Shaw, were present at the event, highlighting its significance for the country’s armed forces.

“This extraordinary supply is further proof of our unwavering partnership with the U.S. and also an important step in strengthening the defensive capabilities of our country,” Kurti stated.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Kosovo’s armed forces will continue to develop in close cooperation with their strategic American partner, both in training and in areas of education and military doctrine, modeled on the U.S. military framework.

This acquisition is seen as a crucial step toward enhancing the FSK’s operational capabilities and consolidating national defense in line with international standards.
