Kosovo Security Force team heads to Gaza

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, has deployed an FSK team to the Gaza Strip to conduct reconnaissance of the area where the Kosovar contingent is expected to operate as part of an international peacekeeping mission.

According to the announcement, the team will carry out a preliminary assessment of the terrain and coordinate activities for the deployment of FSK troops within the framework of the International Stabilization Forces.

During the visit, the delegation held meetings with authorities responsible for the administration of Gaza and with representatives of the Civil-Military Coordination Center, which operates under the supervision of the Peace Board in accordance with a resolution of the United Nations.

These meetings focused on the integration of the FSK contingent, the organization of joint operations, and the coordination of logistical support.

The FSK reiterated its commitment to contributing to global peace and stability in cooperation with international partners, including the United States.
