The Kosovo Security Force (FSK) has conducted the “Combat Life Saver” course, aimed at equipping military personnel with basic and advanced medical skills to provide urgent and effective care on the battlefield, according to NATO standards.
The training took place at the Medical Regiment Training Center of the Logistics Command, and FSK officials said the program is designed to increase the survival rate of injured personnel.
Key training objectives include:
- Trauma management
- Control of bleeding
- Airway maintenance
- Patient stabilization
- Preparation for medical evacuation
FSK emphasized that the course ensures coordinated and standardized interventions in line with tactical pre-hospital care protocols, reflecting a growing focus on battlefield medical readiness.
