Kosovo Signs Three-Year Contract with Mercedes-Benz for Tactical Military Trucks

As part of the Munich Security Conference 2026, Kosovo’s Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, held a meeting with representatives of Mercedes-Benz, including CEO Dennis Kinzelmann and Defense Sales Director Daniel Zittel.

The meeting resulted in the signing of a three-year contract for the supply of tactical trucks to the Ministria e Mbrojtjes e Kosovës.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the strategic partnership demonstrates its commitment to building sustainable cooperation with leading international defense industry manufacturers. The agreement aims to enhance security standards, interoperability, and operational readiness.

The Ministry described the contract as an important step toward modernizing Kosovo’s military fleet and strengthening the operational capacities of the country’s armed forces.

“Cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and Mercedes-Benz has been formalized through the signing of a three-year contract for the supply of tactical trucks,” the statement said.

The deal marks another move in Kosovo’s broader efforts to upgrade its defense infrastructure and align its military capabilities with international standards.
