Today, the Special Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo is carrying out operations at nine locations in the northern part of the country.
Veton Elshani, Deputy Commander for the Northern Region, told Kossev that two raids are underway in Zveçan while seven are taking place in Zubin Potok. He did not provide further details about the ongoing operations.
The raids are being conducted under suspicion of serious criminal offenses, including:
- Endangering United Nations personnel or personnel associated with them
- Aggravated murder
- Assault on officials during the performance of official duties
Authorities have emphasized that the operations are carried out in full accordance with the law and in coordination with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police.
