Kosovo is ranked 91st in the world in the National Cyber Security Index (NCSI), according to the latest data published by the e-Governance Academy.
According to this report, Kosovo scored around 40 points, placing it in the lower part of the global table of countries in terms of readiness to face cyber threats.
The NCSI Index measures states’ ability to prevent cyberattacks and manage digital incidents, analyzing factors such as state policies, data protection, and crisis response.
However, the report shows that Kosovo has made progress in several areas, particularly in preventive security measures and legislation for the protection of personal data, while remaining behind in strategic aspects and incident response.
